7th Letter is a Los Angeles-based streetwear brand launched by 2000 by Casey “Eklips” Zoltan, initially as a way to show off his own art exhibitions. But well over a decade after it rocked the fashion industry, 7th Letter continues to create and redefine streetwear that focuses not on aesthetics alone but also on quality. Apart from Eklips’ own designs, the brand is also showcasing illustrations from emerging artists like Shepard Fairey, Barry McGee, Eric Haze, Chaz Bojorquez, George “Ewok” Thompson, Slick, Pusher, Kenton Parker, Michael Delahaut, just to name a few.

Brand history

HUF is the brainchild of professional skateboarder Keith Hufnagel. Growing up skateboarding on the streets of New York City, Keith moved to San Francisco in 1992 and began traveling the world as a pro. This outlook became a vision, which materialized into what has now become the HUF brand.

HUF 2012 collections

HUF kicked off its summer 2012 shoe collection with a full line of classic skate profiles – lows, mids, and the ever-popular chukka-inspired pieces in a clean variety of hues as well as camouflage. Each shoe purchase comes with a free pair of HUF Plantlife socks.

Vladimir Borges and Arsen Salatinjants of Kendo and Greg Johnsen of Situationormal wanted to create a place where guys can not only pick up high-quality fitted caps but also show all the reverence befitting a genuine Hall of Fame.

Launched in 2007, Hall of Fame combines American pro-sports apparel with streetwear themes and sense of humor. The brand has established itself as a major player in streetwear over the last couple of years with some excellent collaboration works with well-respected labels such as Diamond Supply Co, Frank’s Chop Shop, and 10 Deep. Hall of Fame has also been endorsed by hip hop celebrities like Ghostface Killah.

Aside from snapbacks and 5-panel lids, Hall of Fame also makes graphic tees, tank tops, and cut-and-sew pieces that feature bold all-over prints and neon colorways.

The S/S 2012 collection saw the release of ‘Crack’ snapbacks, in red, gray and teal, with the phrase ‘Fame is Crack’ embroidered on the front. Also included in the drop are ‘Hustle’ snapbacks which feature embroideries of the famous Hustler magazine cover and the cheeky ‘Talked to Death’ tee that is sure to be another conversation piece.

The special edition OG series was created in collaboration with Black Scale, SSUR and DTA. The collection blends the different roots of each brand – sports, art, and music – with their distinct identity presented by way of Venice Beach (DTA), Brooklyn (SSUR), Tenderloin (Black Scale), and Hall of Fame.

Hall of Fame teamed up with nostalgic sports brand Mitchell & Ness to release a collection of retro-styled NBA fitted caps. Sporting an upside-down logo from the ’90s, the current series includes two-tone lids representing team visuals of the old Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Washington Bullets, Philadelphia 76ers, and Charlotte Hornets.

Funktional is inspired by Park’s fashion sense as well as her target customer. The label is designed for women who demonstrate modern styling, understand refined details, and demand luxurious, high-quality fabrics at reasonable prices.

Park takes inspiration from edgy style, the lovely silhouettes of classic dresses, and the shape and wearability of modern cuts. These influences combine to produce figure-flattering dresses, sheer blouses that look great alone or with a blazer or cardigan, and amazing tunics and knitwear for fall and winter.
